Thank you for participating in the Mobile Money Canada 2010 Conference. We had an extremely full day that included 16 speakers, 10 presentations & panels, 2 workshops, 3 networking sessions, and most importantly, close to 175 attendees from Canada and around the world. Wow. I am delighted by the turnout and amazed that we all got through so much in one day. Thanks to everyone that made this a reality.
I have heard from many of you and I am very pleased to learn that the consensus is that Mobile Money Canada 2010 was even better than last year’s conference. I believe that the improvement can be attributed to the outstanding array of speakers, and our sponsors, who provided the necessary support to keep the event complimentary and guarantee the high quality of experienced industry experts. Our speakers and sponsors have helped to provide Canadian mobile financial services professionals with further inspiration, knowledge, and a broader network for continuing their tireless efforts in rolling out Mobile Money services in Canada. To help continue with the industry knowledge sharing, our speakers have agreed to provide their conference presentations to the group. As such, we will be posting the presentations online within the coming week. I will let you know when the presentations are available and please feel free to download them and review them at your convenience. We will also be sharing the video footage of the day's sessions online, so please stay tuned for that.
I would also like to take a moment to thank each of you for completing the conference survey and providing your feedback. We used the feedback from the 2009 conference survey to improve this year’s conference, and we plan to do the same for future events and activities.
After meeting and speaking with many of you at the conference, I know that there are several very exciting mobile money initiatives in the works. The next few months will see a wide variety of product and service launches throughout our industry in Canada. Great work folks!
